JOelmo:wondering any review for BPPS and Greenridge Primary?
Hi JOelmo,
BPPS is a good school! My view, go for it if you stand a chance. I did not stand a chance for BPPS so I enrolled my son to Greenridge instead. So far so good, he loves the school. My major consideration back then was the historical academic performance. Greenridge is known as a neighborhood school who can produce top scorer in PSLE exam. So my thought is the school standard should be more or less is there.
So far, I find the school is a balance school. The students learn not only thru text books; they do learn thru play. From my interaction from the school, I find It is a conservative school. It chooses to use MOE approve application to communicate with parents as it is “more” safe and secure. (

the apps is a little bit slow to login though, hope they improve this).. In daily basis my son form teacher will update us on school homework thru the apps. As a working mum, I find this very helpful. I do not need to wait till I reach home to know whether my son has homework or not. The school also very much cares about our child privacy. During one of the school volunteer briefing. We were advised to not taking photo of the students and posted them online without consent. From here I learn that the school is serious in protecting their student privacy. Although this also means lesser info available online about the school. :? so it can be good and bad.
As a working mum, I find the level of engagement that the school try to establish with the parents is just nice. There are options for parents who like to be involved more. Example: volunteering in psg or in class excursion, workshop etc.
