    • RE: All About English Creative Writing

      Hi Parents,

Anyone previously was considering between Writers at Work and The Alternative Story for creative writing classes? Kiddo is now in P5 and has a good command of vocab but I believe that will not be good enough. I would like to stretch him further. My colleague briefly mentioned Indigo to me . Honestly, i am not aware that Indigo is known for writing classes.

What were your findings and what decision did you eventually make? Will really appreciate your sharing of experience, thoughts, views etc.

    • RE: Wang Learning Centre 汪老師 - Discussion

      Hi all,

My kid is in P2 doing HCL and is currently with Berries. His Chinese results are average. I’m contemplating to augment his Chinese enrichment, particularly in the area of composition and oral. I hope to be able to revise with him effectively and personally, I find that Berries materials are not substantive enough. While he does not want to give up Berries (he has been with them since K2), he is not resistant to attending additional enrichment to improve.

Has anyone compared Wang Lao Shi vis-a-vis Jiang Lao Shi or tried both centers? Can share your insights?

The two centers can be found in AMK. Would love to hear any feedback on the teachers there…

I’m torn between the two. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the suggestion. School bus will be the last resort if indeed no smaller group or private chauffeur arrangement is available. Willing to pay for such service. Thanks…

Hi there! I am looking for daily transport arrangement (carpool, shared, private) for my nephew (P2 in 2018) from Ai Tong School to his granny’s home at Ang Mo Kio after his school in the afternoon?

Anyone has lobang/ recommendation, or is able to offer the arrangement, do PM me. If you are open to 2-way (to-and-fro) arrangements only, I will be keen as well.

Will be glad to discuss the fees further. Thanks very much!

If there are carpooling arrangements or any other private shuttle or ferry services to and fro Ai Tong for AMK, can PM me? Looking for one so that my nephew does not need to wake up too early to take the big chartered bus… Thanks!

      Hi!

My nephew is entering P1 next year. We are looking to arrange for a cab to send him to- and fro Ai Tong daily so that he does not have to take the school bus at an early hour.

We managed to find a cab driver but he is suggesting us to look for 2 more pax.

Anyone staying in AMK and also planning similar arrangement for your kid? Please PM me.

    • RE: Comparing Math Enrichment Programmes

Hi, i didn’t get to see the questions but I understand there were addition/subtraction questions. Don’t fret. There is nothing to prepare. It’s just to have a sense of the kid’s proficiency level so that TLL can recommend which are the more suitable classes of comparable level for your child.

    • RE: Enrichment class for a K1 kid

Have you considered changing a different school? My kid (K2) attends English Enrichment class at two different schools (just trying out). He looks forward to going to one but not the other. The one he loves, he will voluntarily share what he did. For the other which he feels bored, he will just reply me "it’s ok" and that’s it.
