Does anyone know if our girls need to report to RI (JC) in Nov or Dec? We’re planning for our eoy holidays. Wouldn’t want to miss any school orientation or briefing.
Thanks!

Welcome! . Actually I would prefer they combine both into one so that parents could also witness the pinning of the badge, which I heard was very touching...
It definitely was ! It was still like that in 2015 for my daughter.
But since the pinning of the badge is done by Y4s, I guess the school does not want the Y4s to stay late just for that, when they could spend the time revising or doing homework. -

Ah.. I see :thankyou:zyberk:
I heard this year the initiation ceremony is held in the morning. No more in the evening? During my daughter's time it was in the evening. With the slightly dark evening background and followed by the \"pass the light\" thing, the feeling was so solemn.
There are two initiation ceremonies this year. The first (Batch Initiation) is today in the morning where senior buddies pin the school badge on the Year 1s. The second (RGS Initiation) is tomorrow evening, which includes \"pass the light\" thing... -

Same here, my DD is also in Y3. I guess its a bittersweet feeling for her to lose some of her classmates of 2 years but then again she's excited to be in her new class and make new friends.Yahoo.... My girl ( in Yr 3 this year ) was excited to be back to school. She finds life in school more enjoyable than home.
This morning when I drove her to sch @ 6.45am, the queue was longer than usual which we saw many juniors - Yr 1 girls. For Yr 1 juniors and parents, welcome aboard to the Raffles Family. :rahrah:

I think it depends on the route point. We're at CCK and my DD's is at 6.05am as she's the 1st pickup point. In Y1, hers was at 6.30, 2nd last pickup point.Hi .. would like to check if any of your girls are taking sch bus from West (Bt. Batok, CCK area) to RGS?
What is the pick up time? -

I thought class allocation should already be informed by now, we were informed during the Reporting Day last year? The class timetable is also out and available on inet.We got called by the bus operator few days back. My DD will take the school bus.
We are living in Sembawang.
By the way, does the class allocation is out? Can we check it from the portal?
