My daughter has been very mischievous...:
Today I was using her iMac to serve the net (I'm using my old Windows XP now) because my dh wanted to load in some softwares and I saw her history. And it showed that she came here to KSP and posed as a parent... I was so shocked I called her over.
OK, it wasnt so bad. She didnt post anything, she was just checking out the site... I hope she hasnt seen my posts ( :!: ).
Btw, I am not revealing her username as it would be very embarrassing  for my little daughter.
Anyway, here's just a piece of advice for all parents out there, watch what your child is doing on the net. And you could frequently look at your child's computer history to see if he/she is going to any funny sites on the net.

). I hope her daughter will get better soon! Thanks again!

Parenting is currently my favourite activity.
Besides that, I like to surf KSP (
), cross-stitch with my dd and watch shopping-network/movies on HBO (
)
But mostly, I like to spend time with my dh and dd, like going on picnics and swimming together on Sundays.
Thanks for the comments! (Lucky my friendβs daughter doesnt slit her wrists!)
For teacher's day, my dd bought gifts from UrbanWrite like cute little notepads and teachers day mugs.
At first, she wanted to buy flowers (you know those kind of cloth flowers) but I told her her teachers will not put those to good use and besides, it's tacky.
Then she suggested to get them mugs, so I agreed. At least her teachers can use them and it will not be a waste of money.
I asked my dd to handmake some cards for them too, as a small token of appreciation. I am sure her teachers will love the mugs and notepads.
Hi mommies and daddies,
My friend and I went for breakfast a few days ago. My friend is a mommy of 2 children, one of which is a 15-year-old dd. My friend told me that her dd has been stressing out over Secondary school life and has been poking herself with pencil lead and sometimes even chewing on her arm. She told me she saw a whole row of bite marks on her left arm and when she tried to find out the root of the problem, her daughter would not respond and sometimes even locks herself up in her room and would not come out.
I want to help my friend but I don't know how to. I tried suggesting to her to keep her company and chat with her but she told me she had tried that but received negative response.
Does anyone know how to help her?
Thanks in advance for your feedback. :?:

Every year without fail I buy mooncakes from Mandarin Hotel. My dh says mooncakes there very yummy so I started buying those and he was right, it is very delicious. My favourite kind is the lian rong kind, the sticky paste. For some reason, my dd hates the mooncakes with the egg in it. So I have to dig it out and help her eat!
I am very concerned about my dd. I am 44, my hubby 2 yrs older. We only have one child. I am very worried that when she grows up, she has noone to lean on to for financial/emotional support.
We have tried and tried (heehee, quite fun leh) but still no baby. Doctor says his sperms are inferior.
Dear all mommies, do you think I should adopt a child or leave it as it is?
Will appreciate if there is feedback!
