ME TIME!
-
Canvas:
I am blessed with 2 slots of me-time a day. First one is the 2 hours when the little one is in nursery and I get to read in peace at the bookstore and grabbing some groceries before picking up the kids. Second slot is when everyone has gone to bed and I catch up on news, indulge in some irregular online shopping and simply spacing out. I sometimes refuse to go to bed even when I already felt very sleepy.
Canvas, Wow, some parents even have difficulty getting one. 2 ME time is a luxury.
Just curious what kind of book do you read? I'm an avid reader too. -

Sorry :offtopic: How to watch Korean shows on iPad? I always got a message that some software is missing.
:offtopic: Search, download and install PPS or PPTV. That's all you need on the iPhone or iPad. -
Hi JohnYeo,
I read most genres except mythical ones. I like self-improvement types and recipe books but I am usually at the magazine section, pouring through interior design magazines and doses of Women Weekly/Designaire/People magazine (magazines that I enjoy but won’t pay for).
Yes, I really appreciate that I am able to choose to be at home (not without months of struggle!) with my kids temporarily while the younger one is still little. Never had any free time when I was working full time because after work, cooking, washing up and putting the kids to bed would have taken up whatever little energy I had left. -
ME time is reading magazines, surfing net, playing games, taking my own sweet time to vacuum the floor, ironing with favorite songs in the background.

Surfing web on iPad is a great escape...do you watch Korean or HK shows? Watching some can help destress. -

Thanks, Chief. I will search for the apps.ngl2010:

I always feel that something is missing when I shop without buying anything :siam: -
I tried to mop instead of vacuum…but realise the dust kills me more. Floor is not sticky…bcos hubby wears bedroom slippers and we do not have sticky feet. Mopping can’t ‘pick’ up the hair on the floor…so it’s back to vacuum again.
Window shopping is painful…to see something nice and reasonably priced, or better still there is a sale, but not being able to buy is no fun. Might as well stay at home.
