Mothers' day Means more to me these few years (than before). In the past years, I was just grateful for having a great mum and how fortunate we are that she is still with us. In the recent years, I am not just grateful that my mum is still with us but also, how my little one is now able to show his love and appreciation (in his own way) for me.
As with the past two years, my little one is making a card for me. In each of the last two cards, he did \"palm painting\" and this year, it is no different. So I get to see how the little palm grows from year to year. And I get all emo comparing the cards, seeing how the little one grows

That is so sweet! I used to have kind of the same thing too. Whenever I brought my son to the Science Centre, we would make our way to the exhibit where there were these boards of closely packed pins. He would press his hands on the pins, which would then make the shape of his palms and I would take a picture of him grinning away at his hands. I have a collection of pictures of him at that exhibit over the years, which I used to see how he grew up. Sadly, they removed the exhibit a couple of years back so we have no chance to continue that \"tradition\"....
