For individual Lit texts or general reference? For individual texts, you can look online at Cliff notes and Spark notes. There are probably many others in places like Popular. For general reference, I don’t know.

What about the Poetry part of Literature? Any tips on how to improve?

                alwayscheerfulalwayskind:
Poetry is an abstract form of expression. Same thing, have to learn to understand the context and what the writer is trying to express.

Language wise definitely have to be profound to understand it. So best, read more and comprehend more 🙂
Sob sob.....that's the tough part.....DS came back asking....\"What does life like layers of onion mean?\" I'm speechless too....

I am looking for literature guide books for my child who has done badly for his literature exam. He is using "Classroom Plays" by Stella Kon and "Singapore Short Stories" by Robert Yeo.

Is there tuition class for literature based on the books the child is using in school?

                  Thank you.

I hope you have since found a suitable answer to that expression.

Simply put, Life is a multi-layered construct, with many folds and intersections. Relationships, Experiences, Personalities, and the Passing of Time all contribute to the potpourri of our defining existence.

Often, a philosopher, mystic, or seeker of Truth works to strip the layers and tries to reduce the complexities of Life to either nothingness or to its essential core. Imagine a monk going about his day’s duties. Similarly, meditation focuses our attention and energies on a single truth or idea, and it is at least in part an attempt to seek respite from our daily confusions wrought by busyness.

Some key words to get you started on understanding Literature better:

                    Individuality
                    Relationships
                    Society

Much of Literature is the study of how an individual relates both to himself and to society.
