DS is in P3 this year..Are both of your kids P1?
The \"P5 students\" will buddy \"P1 students\" one to one.
There is also something organised by Parents Support Group of the school for P1 Parents and also recruitment.
Parents Support Group, besides supporting some of the school activities, it is also organised in a way that every level (P1 to P6 level) has a Level Representative and every class has a Class Representative (from his/her own DS's class). Its an additional path of communication (on top of the usual letter and sms by school) to help communicate school info to each class's parents. So most if not all Class Representative normally should have very good rapport with the parents in the same class. After years, especially from P1 to P6 in the same class, some have even become good friends. :lol:

Does the boy need to wear the school uniform if on tat day he have PE lesson or he just need to wear the PE attire(without uniform) to school? thks if anyone can reply

No need. He can wear the PE attire the whole day for the days that he has PE. I think the school did try to implement for upper primary - the rule that they have to bring the PE attire to change for pe days, but well, it never did work out somehow all these 6yrs that my elder boy was there! haha!
Even my daughter in sec school, also wears her pe t-shirt the whole day with her pinafore on pe days. -

Went to school on his first day. Feel so relieved that he has a P5 buddy with him but the buddy system is only for 3 days. A bit to short I feel. Noticed that the queue is very long for some stalls. Ds complained not enough time!! Regretted not spending enough time to screen the menu and price thoroughly. lol

Thot I saw the δΈ and followed but I inverted the ε ¬! He said he saw the same symbol in the school hall and realised my mistake!

One question - CCA bus is separate from those that take school bus - so those who don't take school bus can also take the CCA bus, and pay on the spot, right? Why this question? For Ai Tong school, CCA bus is only specially for those who take the school bus

ya i agreed with u n today is the last day for the buddy system....indeed is quite a long queue especially the rice stall...but dunno y the noodle stall was closed and i find tat some of the food they sell tere was quite ex.... -

hi Blessedmum...aye i agreed! 3 days for the buddy system is too short. It will be good if they can extend the buddy system to a week. By the way, i've done some researched on the 1st day and for you info, the food is around $0.60 to $1.50 in average. Give yr boy coins and in $1.00, $0.50 & $0.10 as it will allow the boys to count & buy faster.
