Mine in P5
My DS couldnt understand last qns in Paper 2 too and that qns was 4 marks. Another qn was also 4 marks. Hopefully, the rest of the paper and Paper 1 are done correctly or with minimum mistakes.
Not sure true or not, I was told P4 SA2 will be easier as these papers need MOE's approval due to subject banding/streaming (ie standard or foundation) -
Errr....but my P3 girl said the Maths paper was easy. http://media.photobucket.com/user/buxtehudeoma/media/SMILEY/summer/a8.gif.html Looks like I may have a lot of http://media.photobucket.com/user/maxicastro/media/Smileys/smileyranting.gif.html to do when I see the marked paper.
Dino mummy:
That's good news then. http://media.photobucket.com/user/LuvH8/media/I%20Be%20Something/I%20Be%20Praying/pray-4.gif.htmlNot sure true or not, I was told P4 SA2 will be easier as these papers need MOE's approval due to subject banding/streaming (ie standard or foundation)

My son told me about the second last question in Section C. Not sure whether the school was trying to test the students English or Maths. http://media.photobucket.com/user/ajbnzer/media/Smiley/thinking.gif.html -
My DD also in P5.

Dino Mummy,
So, was it true for your boy's case last year? SA2 papers were easy? What about SA1 last year?
Is this the reason why they set difficult SA1 papers? :scratchhead:
My boy commented that yesterday's Chinese paper was difficult. -
qms:
Last year hum...he did better than SA1. His daddy cum maths tutor commented the SA2 maths paper is not difficult. For other subjects, I dun find big differences.Dino mummy:

For yesterday chinese, DS1 said easy loh...said the compreh passage, answers can be copied easily from the passage. So, I asked him how many marks can he get since it is an easy paper...He replied \"70 out of 95\". I asked \"huh? easy can only get 70???\" He said his answers for certain sections are different from his friends. So his easy is not easy actually..
There was some changes on the compreh passage. He said they were asked to change some qns and then he found the qns and passages dun make sense. He fedback and they were changed to the original qns. Not sure this is true or not... -

Zlia,
I believe your girl has told you about Ms Tan’s long absence from the class. Any thoughts on this issue?
If this is going to persist into the next semester, I think we, as parents, need to do something about it. I don’t know about your girl, but my girl is very demoralised. -
Wonder the school will ask the students go back for remedial class if scored below marks 80?
