Yes, I didn't asked why. I just let him finished breakfast and gave him a hug. My expectation is also can pass..can already. My DD will oso count liddat happyheart.
Now I don't ask anymore what she was counting. I will just wait to see paper. At least only get the heart palpitations once.
After awhile, the heart attack reduced to palpitations because I know her competency level. Can pass... good enough. -
Don't sweat over SA this year...bcos schools always set way above...their idea of 'wake up'...totally demoralizing. From CA1 to SA2 (aka prelims), I told son to do his best. Comprehension passages were so tough... :siao:

Why would schools set very tough paper for SA1? If results no good, how to try for DSA?...

Same... :hugs: I can totally understand how you feel.
Some more hubs kena scheduled to travel for work soon. Means I will have zero help at home when he's gone. Since we don't have tuition.. if she can pass on her own effort, with little help from me (as and when she needs) her pass is really her own merit.
We are planning to unwind too these hols, before hubs leaves. She needs all the morale booster she can get. All of us need it actually. :rotflmao: For our slower learners, I find they need all the love they can get. They will know we are never compromising our love over some results. Hopefully this can help them enter the exam hall less stressed and confident to do their best. -

Prelims worst...totally ridiculous. Son said the 2011 math was tough enough...2012 math problems were harder. Tutor agreed.
All the best...whatever year you were born in, rabbit, goat, horse, dragon, snake...PSLE will be getting difficult. So, don't eat snake. -

:hugs: Results not out yet.. besides application for DSA looks at consistency from at least P4 onwards (for some schools), so if your child has been doing consistently very well perhaps he may surprise you with good results for this SA1. -

Hah? Is that why my son's school set easy papers? To help DSA? The teacher's explanation is they will gauge the result and adjust accordingly for Prelim. Math's Booklet A results already came out and average score is 16 out of 20. Children are happy

Haha... seems like only travels and play catch my attention, even though this is a PSLE discussion thread!
