happyheart, when u say take him out to sea, how do u do that? Cruise? Yacht?

Undeniably, there are alot of pressure on SA1 results as we need it for DSA.... Today is the last major paper soclay569:
Why would schools set very tough paper for SA1? If results no good, how to try for DSA?...
Hah? Is that why my son's school set easy papers? To help DSA? The teacher's explanation is they will gauge the result and adjust accordingly for Prelim. Math's Booklet A results already came out and average score is 16 out of 20. Children are happy
for good results. dd is looking forward to receiving her results especially after putting in so much effort this time round (vs CA1). This to me is a good sign.
Immediately after the maths paper, dd's FT asked for feedback. Alot said it's tough. dd and some of her pals think it's do-able. Not easy but not that difficult either. I told her if she really did well that shows her consistent top school papers practice helped her to gain speed and familarity. So pls continue to keep up with the momentum for prelim and PSLE. -

:hugs: Results not out yet.. besides application for DSA looks at consistency from at least P4 onwards (for some schools), so if your child has been doing consistently very well perhaps he may surprise you with good results for this SA1.
Thx. I hope so. There's so much homework and could only start revision last wk...tough luck liao... Think too much very stressful. I go online shopping destress a while first.... -
Do you think teachers will give a lot of homework during June holiday?

Are you going anywhere?
I am meeting my girl friends tonight to chill out first..this SA1 already stressed me out, I need rejuvenation! -
Probably. Because they not physically around to tekan the kids. DD has to attend half day lessons for about 9-10 days in June.
The homework before SA1 period was crazy. :siao:
....and they still expected the kids to have time to revise. :siao:  -

Serious ah
How do you plan for June revision with your kids? Obviously the weakest subject and topic will get the most attention, like how many hours a day etc. Any suggestion or timetable to share for reference? -
Past PSLE mummies,
Is it advisable to start working on past year prelim papers during this Holiday? Still have to finish all undone SA1 papers
?
