ds tells me the same thing after every exams. He always find Chinese very difficult, the rest easy.

He does fairly well for eng, Maths & science but just pass in Chinese. This is the main reason why I am planning to ask him to try for DSA. His T-score will be greatly affected by Chinese 😕

        KSP:
dd ranks the level of difficulty for this SA as follows:

        EL - most difficult
        Maths
        CL
        Sci
        HCL

i found it a bit strange as dd finds HCL not as difficult as CL..... :?
You are right. HCL easiest of the lot? Wow! Impressive!

Is it according to her results? Yet to hear my gal's take on her exams (as she has not received all the papers) but my feeling is top on the list is the languages for her. Maths is the easiest (she said so immediately after the exam & results proved so).

same here.sci haven't yet come.He felt the papers were easy but marks not proving for maths cos careless mistakes in sec A&B.Haven't received the papers. He said he didn't understand a word in a close passage in Tamil.I guess he lost more marks in it.
DSA is not easy as well.

Results got back…bad…not to expectations. HCL fail.

All only A not even A star. This Thursday PTM. All comments repeated every year ,‘yr kid is intelligent, talkative, he can excel if he focus.’ I wonder does the teacher know how to unleash my kid’s potential or not.
June holidays have to go for acupuncture session on my kid’s head liao.

Got dd's results too. So disappointed with her maths results, dropped by 20 marks compared to last SA2. :yikes: (Her school did not have CA1). She spent most of her time on Maths but still .....

Same same, sch no CA1. Maths drop to low A. Try harder next term on area, perimeter, should at least boost the confidence. May be my kid is not intelligent after all.

Like most kids here, some great news and some not too good ones for DD's SA1 results (whatever's been released so far).

Weakest subject for DD is undoubtedly Chinese. She has actually done quite OK in Oral and Paper 2, but 作文 was a disaster. Have not gotten back the marks for HCL, but I don't have a good feeling about that. I am really hoping and praying that she can at least pass her HCL 🙏

got back Maths and Sci plus some components of EL/CL/HCL.... looking at the trend it matches her results..... i so glad and happy that she did not fail any of her subject this time...... :rahrah: :celebrate: :congrats:

hope this is her lowest point for upper pri results and she can do better in her SA2/P6......

I must set my expectations higher. I was quite relieved that she didn't fail any subject - but mustn't speak too soon, not all marks are in yet. :xedfingers:

She doesn't do HCL, but she mentioned that this year's HCL paper was very tough and many HCL pupils didn't do well.

What is the range of marks for A star, A and B?
