Keming Primary

Hi Kagillus,
For CL, the P3 & 4 students will be grouped into 3 difference classes namely: 导入(Bridging), 核心 (Core) or 深广 (Enrichment). Students who achieved considerable good scores in CL at year end are grouped to the 深广 classes where they will cover the syallbus in greater depth. -
Thank you. Think my boy’s Chinese is not tt good leh. Wonder if will get transfer to core if he couldn’t catch up. Any idea if tt ever happens?

Hi Kagillus,
I believe he will make it as long as he has not developed an aversion to the language

I was told by my DS form teacher that only English & Maths results would be taken into consideration for streaming to P3 class. She said the students will be streamed to different chinese classes in P3 anyway. Is it true? Asking this becos chinese is my DS’s weakest subject. He is in P2. Worried that he can’t get into the top 3 P3 classes if his chinese score will be taken into consideration. Anyone can advise?

Hi Ly,
Don’t you worry as the CL score will not be considered for the streaming exercise which is a disincentive for those strong in it. -

if not wrong, chinese class has its top classes which is already allocated since P1. Your concern on top main stream classes for P3 is based on Eng and Maths.
