erm... I hope this is not in response to my posting... I was just joking lah...lurline:
omg... don't give up hope!
there is still time to catch up!
I still ask my dd to aim for the stars!
Haha, I told ds to reach the stars too but the Chinese & English stars are hard to reach. -

For core examinable subjects, mark range grade :
91 and above A*
75 to 90 A
60 to 74 B
50 to 59 C
35 to 49 D
20 to 34 E
Below 20 F
These are for P5 and P6 only. P4 and below still uses Band 1, Band 2 and so on. Usually at P5 onwards, we will say marks like PSLE.
We must not lose hope lah. A star still can achieve in PSLE. -
Yup, don't lose hope yet, have told myself dd need sometime to digest the new topics, the exam format, new requirement etc. Just like in P3, with consistent effort, grade should improve by end of year I hope :xedfingers:

Now is my turn, Iām depressed.
ds Chinese & English results dropped 20marks. The teacher highlighted in class that he is 1 of the 2 boys who scored B for eng, all get As or A*, shamed him. -

Even though I prepared myself and DD for the drop this year, we are both still trying to take in the new reality. Drastic dip!
Not exactly depressed, partly no energy and too numbed, but not feeling great either.
Just cruising along and waiting for June holidays to rejuvenate.
Keep our spirits up, dear friends! -
In case anyone doesn't know this thread available,

I think if we discussed in the 2014 thread we would get some tips from experienced mummies or tutors. -

I have decided to write to his English teacher to find out where are his weak areas. Need to work on it this holiday. They are not given breakdown of the different components unless parents request.

dd got back all the papers, here's the ranking
You are right. HCL easiest of the lot? Wow! Impressive!KSP:
dd ranks the level of difficulty for this SA as follows:
EL - most difficult
Maths
CL
Sci
HCL
i found it a bit strange as dd finds HCL not as difficult as CL..... :?
Is it according to her results? Yet to hear my gal's take on her exams (as she has not received all the papers) but my feeling is top on the list is the languages for her. Maths is the easiest (she said so immediately after the exam & results proved so).
CL - highest
Sci
HCL
EL
Maths
No star  but also no subject fail :rahrah: ...... phew, what a relieve!!! now can get ready for our Jun holiday.... :celebrate:
