Now is my turn, I'm depressed.

ds Chinese & English results dropped 20marks. The teacher highlighted in class that he is 1 of the 2 boys who scored B for eng, all get As or A*, shamed him.
      The teacher is so nasty!!

Even though I prepared myself and DD for the drop this year, we are both still trying to take in the new reality. Drastic dip!

Not exactly depressed, partly no energy and too numbed, but not feeling great either.

Just cruising along and waiting for June holidays to rejuvenate.

Keep our spirits up, dear friends!

In case anyone doesn't know this thread available,

          http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=41479&start=250

I think if we discussed in the 2014 thread we would get some tips from experienced mummies or tutors.

I have decided to write to his English teacher to find out where are his weak areas. Need to work on it this holiday. They are not given breakdown of the different components unless parents request.

                KSP:

dd ranks the level of difficulty for this SA as follows:

                EL - most difficult
                Maths
                CL
                Sci
                HCL

i found it a bit strange as dd finds HCL not as difficult as CL..... :?

You are right. HCL easiest of the lot? Wow! Impressive!

Is it according to her results? Yet to hear my gal's take on her exams (as she has not received all the papers) but my feeling is top on the list is the languages for her. Maths is the easiest (she said so immediately after the exam & results proved so).

dd got back all the papers, here's the ranking

                CL - highest
                Sci
                HCL
                EL
                Maths

No star  but also no subject fail :rahrah: ...... phew, what a relieve!!! now can get ready for our Jun holiday.... :celebrate:

I'm also ready for holidays! :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:

In fact, my dd already in hols mood. Set up play date on Fri, school just going thru papers & not having classes, instead the girls are having activities like IT training, peer management class & outdoor experience during school hours... At home, just read, play wii & gorge herself on ice cream, chocolates & titbits...

As for us, here's the ranking :

                  Math - highest
                  Sci
                  CL
                  EL
                  HCL

She managed to catch 2 stars & even achieve dist for HCL! We are pleasantly surprised with her chinese results (considering how potato she is :imcool: ) and a bit disappointed with english (considering this is the ONLY subject she has tuition for :moneyflies: ).

Ok, guess she has thus proven that she can fly solo (tho her mental preparedness needs to be worked on & refined).

Now to turn my attention to ds2 & sit on him hard...
