...

I don't understand about the $ 26.6m to cover-up the initial $ 24m. Has this $ 26.6m returned back to the church? If already returned back, where did XTron get the money from if Sun Ho's album failed?

Ah Gong has a favorite mistress M that costs him $24 to keep. Because he doesn't want Ah Ma to know about his mistress, he gives $13 to his close friend A and $11 to his other close friend B, saying that it is to invest in their businesses. In return, A and B are supposed to give this money to M. So if Ah Ma asks what happened to his money, Ah Gong can genuinely say that the money is spent on investments.

Ah Ma, being smart, asks what happened to these \"investments\". Ah Gong got scared, so decided to give $15.20 to A, and $11.40 to C (who was supposed to give the money to B), so that A and B seems to be doing well despite having no money.

Oh I get the picture now!!!

So the Children and Grandchildren all side AH GONG....
Because if AH GONG get caught .... their AH MA ...will create problem in this big household..... :yikes: :yikes:

I have stupid question. If they think all the church members will say it is ok to fund the Crossover Project, why not just openly have church donation drive to fund the Project? Run around so many circles with the church building fund for what? Jia ba siu eng meh?

Or maybe they will say, "The Lord works in mysterious ways"?

But A and B have not given back $15.20 and $11.40 to Ah Gong, right? Is it still kept by A and B as \"investments\"?

The 2nd tranche given by Ah Gong to A is for \"expenses\", not for investments. You don't get money back for expenses. The money given to C is for \"investments\". You don't get money back if the \"investments\" go bad.

So the final picture is that A and B makes good on returns on the initial $24 \"investment\" made by Ah Gong, therefore removing all trails of the money that went to M. QED.

Although I am sure there are quite a sizeable number of members who believed in the Crossover Project and would not mind their money being spent on it, I don't think the church will take the risk of angering part of its congregration that is 'on the fence'. Remember that Sun Ho's lavish lifestyle was no secret to the church and I don't think all members will react kindly to donation drive to fund this kind of lifestyle no matter how noble the intention behind it. Few years back when FCBC announced the intention to use church fund for the other Kong's magic shows, there were quite a few members who was not okay with it and changed church.

According to today's papers, the defence lawyers did address your question. Apparently, the Crossover Project works better if people don't know who is doing the funding.

Men works in mysterious ways, not The Lord.
Did The Lord ask ah gong and ah ma - to produce \"china wine\" ?

Perhaps we should say the Lord works in ways mysterious to men?

The problem is that we men do things and then try and attribute to God.
On the sixth day of the City Harvest trial involving six accused persons from the church, the prosecution showed that two sets of documents which were signed in 2007, appeared to have been drafted only in 2010.

One of the documents was a personal guarantee signed by Mr Wahju Hanafi, indemnifying company Xtron Productions against any losses from the Crossover Project, which involved church founder Kong Hee's wife, pop singer Ho Yeow Sun. The other was another personal guarantee signed by accused persons Kong Hee, Tan Ye Peng, Chew Eng Han and witness Koh Siow Ngee, indemnifying Mr Wahju Hanafi for the earlier-mentioned guarantee.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Christopher Ong pointed to an e-mail sent by accused Serina Wee to Chew in 2010, in which the drafts of the two personal guarantees came attached.

DPP Ong asked Mr Koh if he recalled signing the guarantee in 2007. Mr Koh could not. When asked if he knew why Wee had drafted them in 2010, Mr Koh replied he did not know. Noting the three-year time gap, DPP Ong pressed: \"Does that look like an error to you?\" Mr Koh replied that it could have been an \"oversight\" or \"carelessness\".
what is this?? :scared:

When I read that each accused has 2 helpers, I was like šŸ˜“ like royalty, pity there is no dog for each of them to pat every time they get comfortable on the chair.
