Hello, does anyone of u know how many 'O' level classes & IP classes are there in St Nik girls? How does the afflicated school thingy works huh? I am so confused when I see that if you're from CHIJ primary, u can enrol into the affliated Sec school with PSLE T score of 225??? Then how the school will turn away those with higher T-score?? :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

And, I am somehow worried how the new JC will perform. Does anyone share the same feelings?

      🤷 🤷

From what I know, 5 'O' level and 6 IP classes.
COP for O level is 253. School will have to reject those that scored below this score.
My friend's dau scored 251(already very good), chose St Nicks, but couldn't get, even after appeal.
As for the new JC, no question abt the calibre of the JCs students as most of them will be from the 3 premier schools.
For sure, expect'g brand new facilities, innovative teach'g styles....
Don't think it will be a worrying factor.

Thanks Crester! What about those from CHIJ Primary? If they score 225 & apply for St nick, those 253 will be rejeted?

SNGS Sec will take in all its qualifying affiliated primary school students first, before opening up the remaining vacancies to students from other schools.

If yes, then Only St Nicks Primary affiliated to St Nicks Sec.
For IP St Nicks, no affiliation is given to its St Nicks Pri girls. COP for IP is 255 for all Pri 6 students.
            Thats what I am aware.

Huh? no lah, I am referring to CHIJ St Nick pri & sec.
I saw on the MOE website that they are affliated. From St Nick Pri, one need 225 to enter its sec school?? I am unsure how it works. Pls enlighten me. Thank u. :scratchhead:

                Hi morning,
Oh I see what u meant.
Ok, as a St Nicks Pri girl, if 1 scores 225 above, places St Nicks as First Choice, she will get into its Sec O Level Track.
For it's IP Track, no affiliation for all. Need to score 255 above.
This COP 225 is subjected to changes- school has the discretion to increase it when necessary.
