Where was the first A&W in Singapore?

Recently Mac come out with the curly fries thingy. Last sunday went to Mac with my SIL, Mum & kids and I mentioned that the best curly fries in S'pore is still A&W.

Yes, I love their root beer float, curly fries and the breakfast meal. :love:

Oh curly fries originated from them? No wonder found it so familiar, dunno where I ate before. I like the curly ones better too.

remember it was built like theose old colonial house...elevated form the ground level.

Dad used to drive us there and park outside the restaurant.
The waitress will come over to take our order, then she will bring the food over on a tray which will be propped on the car door (with the window rolled down). We will then have the food in the car.
