Oh yes, I’m old enough to remember that A&W restaurant.

Dad used to drive us there and park outside the restaurant.
The waitress will come over to take our order, then she will bring the food over on a tray which will be propped on the car door (with the window rolled down). We will then have the food in the car.
Wendy's was at Far East Plaza, right? It was supposed to be the \"better\" burger, so more expensive.

Didn't have time to read through the thread, but if the question on where the first A&W is still valid, ten my answer is the one on the canal on Dunearn/Bt Timah. Dunno why I remember that cos that was really yonks ago in the 70s. Dunno when it shut down. I must be lao liao šŸ™‚

Bingo!! You got it right! :celebrate: You so ancient meh? 😐

You dun make me so shy lah!
Btw buddy, I trust that you did not peep into google for the answer, so I am transfering the winning KSP points of 100 to you now. I am poorer by 100 KSP points but richer by getting to know you better. šŸ˜„ :celebrate:
