          can anybody suggest any good assessment books for:


          comprehension open-ended (chinese & english)
          comprehension cloze (english)

            Somehow I feel that the approach to mastering languages is different from Maths. (more) Practice doesn’t make perfect, unlike Maths.


            Doing more cloze or compre exercises don’t seem to help much.

            Or am I the only one with this observation?

                For Chinese, is the comprehension open ended normally harder for HCL or CL? :?
