I prefer LP - my son was with Lcentral for a while before I switched him over to LP English and Maths -like MMM, he had low grades with LCentral.

The moment I switched him over to LP - the grades shot up…

          Hi,

Sorry I wasn’t monitoring this thread and hence missed the message.

My kids have been with LC for a couple of years. They switched from BC. LC is definitely more academic than BC however despite being with LC for a couple of years, my dc1 results in P5 and P6 is around 60+ range… Meanwhile for my dc2, he was 70+ in P3 and P4 but dropped to 60odd for P5…

At someone’s recommendation, I pulled my P6 out this year and sent her to a private tutor. Her oral moved from 20/30 to 27/30. She also showed improvement in compo. Unfortunately the main paper for SA1 is tough this time round (where her peers also dropped significantly) she still ended up with 60+ for EL. If not for compo and oral improvmenet, it would have been much worst… So private tuition appear to work for her. I intend to switch my son to this tutor from term 3 as well. But as we paid for entire year in LC for all the kids, he will continue with his LC lessons concurrently. To be fair, LC admin folks are great and very helpful.

The private tuition is by a ex-teacher and the cost is significantly higher than LC. But at least we see results.

Hi, I am planning to enrol my N2 child at LCentral @Bukit Timah branch. Anyone from the same branch have the $30 discount voucher? Was told by the Centre Mgr that only same branch will enjoy disc for both parties. It's their new implemented policy.

If yes, pls PM me. Thanks a lot!
