There will be programs which the school is selected to pilot. That's should be the reason classes are starting earlier on fridays.


My DS was late for school. Tot it was suppose 15 mins or 1/2 hr before official class starts .... nah i was wrong!.. Parents please enlighten me..

just wondering if the buddy system , where the P2s take care of the P1s during recess, will continue for 2 weeks ? or is it only the 1st 3 days ?

I can't really help here as my gal takes the school bus, and I think she reaches school at about 12:40 p.m.

I do note that certain days of the week, they are asked to be in school by 12:45 p.m.

I remember we were given a time table and note to let us know which are the days that they need to be in school early.

Perhaps you could email or call yr son's form teacher.

I asked my gal and she told me that her form teacher told them that the buddy system lasts for a week.

wow ! i was quite shocked today when i saw some teachers leading the children into the carpark and making a curve towards the main gate to be released to the parents. isn’t it dangerous for a single teacher to lead a class of pupils into the paths of school buses and other vehicles ?

shouldn’t the pupils be led under the covered pavements from the canteen towards the guard’s station ?
And i think leading the pupils from a single direction source (ie from the canteen) is a more systematic way of releasing the classes, instead of pupils coming from different directions ?
I do hope someone from the school authorities is reading this and making it a point to keep the pupils away from the carpark. Because all it takes is just one bus driver mistakenly pressing on the accelerator instead of the brakes and the bus can just drive into a classful of pupils ?!?!?

Ya i agreed. I was there and saw how the teacher dismissed the children. Parents should raise this to the school principal. Their dismissal style change every now and then. Sometimes from the shelter thru the security desk sometimes from the carpark. And their school timing also different from 20 Jan and 5 Feb onwards. Keep changing till the bus operator are headache.

I’ve heard from the bus operator that most of the P1 students didn’t sign up for the speech & drama course on wednesday, is that true? Is it that this course is not popular?
