Just received an email from school regarding the P5 camp.It has been cancelled/postponed till further notice due to the current haze situation.

Yup received the same message. Activities on Wed to Fri cancelled too. Don’t know will they decide to go ahead as planned if the haze clear up in the next few days?

My DD was very disappointed too...after she knew some schools postponed the camp to September, she keep asking me whether I receive the schedule email from rgps... -
It seems the school intends to cancel the camp. I hope more parents can voice their disappointment so the Principal will consider reinstating it.

I hope not. I have bought all the camping stuffs for my dd.And she will be very disappointed if the school cancel the camp.
I though the P5 camp is compulsory for all schools in Singapore. -
There were rumours and some parents have called the school to check. The admin said the school has problems finding other dates and some parents have expressed disappointment.
Please do call or write in to request postponement and not cancellation. -

same for last year's swimming carnival was cancelled at Clementi Swimming Complex due to heavy rain, every P4 was there but sitting under the shelter waiting for the rain to stop..... :sad:KSP:

Just received Semester 2 calendar of events.
Seemed that this year’s SA2 has been brought forward, Oral starting end Sept, written exam 1st week of Oct!!
We typically make use of the PSLE marking days to catch up on revision, cannot do that anymore this year…
