This week passed really fast. Not just orientation for ds, but for the whole family as the family routines changes quite a bit.

My ds was quite positive about his new school, teachers and friends. So hopefully this momentum will follow thru! Cheers!

No, my ds will stay home with me till i go work in the future. So also looking out for one too... In yunnan cres, the ichiban childcare accepts pri sch kids too.

Any advice on how much to give for daily pocket money ? Don't know how much the food in the canteen cost.

How much did you give? I gave ds $1.50 since day 1, spent 70-80cents on noodles and saved the rest.

Does anyone know for P1, how many exams are they having this year ? One or Two ? Know from some colleagues that their child school already started to conduct exam only once this year, and another one no exam.

Hi, I had ask their VP during orientation. There are no mid-year exam for P1. Yesterday, I receive a \"My School Diary 2010\" fm school. It stated 30% progressive assessment, nil for Semestral Assessment SA1 and 70% Semestral Assessment SA2.

Hi Blurmorn,
We send our son to Whispering Heart Student Care (blk 617). They help student to complete school homework at the center, that release some pressure on the parents.

My son want to join!! So we enrol for him.
