Hi, my husband is former student of Rulang primary, so my kiddies qualify phase 2B. We stay more than 2km away. So, have to go thru ballotting? Mine is twin, if one get a place, does it means that the other twin will have a place as well?
did your husband join Rulang alumni ? (he should know)
if he did - means he's under Phase 2A(1), not 2A(2).
if 2A(1) :-
then you'll have to register your twins next Tuesday (9 July 2013), 8 am till 11 am.
but if your husband didn't join Rulang alumni -
then you can register your twins on Monday or Tuesday (15 / 16 July 2013), under phase 2A (2).
Important:-
make sure you don't miss the right day.
MOE is strict; she not going to entertain you, if you miss the date.

We need to register for our only DS this month. Though we are entitled to Phase 2A(2) cos my husband was formerly from St Stephen’s School, plus we are Catholic family, we are very much concern about it being a All-Boys school, our hyper active DS may get worse, plus the school is not academically strong, esp in Chinese Language. Within 1km from our place, we have Red Swastika & Yu Neng Pri, which are very popular. We are monitoring the no. of vacancy after each phase, and hope right before 15 July, we will have a clearer direction. In fact, we have planned to bring DS to visit these 3 schools, and let him has a part in the decision-making.
Can anyone analyse our risk factors?
But, honestly, besides the above 2 setbacks, there are more pros than cons opting for STSS, e.g. single session, near my mom-in-law’s place, home-cooked meals. -

If we give up St Stephen’s School at P2A2, and try for RWS or YN at P2C, if fail then to go back St Stephen School at P2CS, too risky right?

From past balloting history, SS do not have any vacancies for P2Cs. I doubt there will be any this year. If you wish to try RS or YN under P2C, you will need to choose another back-up.
Here's the link to past balloting history to schools in your bedok.

Thanks Master for ur prompt reply.
We happened to meet 2 secondary boys formerly from SS last evening at a birthday celebration, and both strongly agreed that SS is a very good which trained them to be socially responsible gentlemen. And truly they are well-mannered and sincerely reminded us actually depends which sec school would us want our kids to be in. We will go for SS for sure. -
We have a pair of twins registering this end of the month with P2C. We wld like to enrol them to Radin Mas Pri. Radin Mas is considered as a good neighboring school so we were afraid of low/no vacancy rate as we fall within the 1-2km range and . Our alternative school will be Blangah Rise school. Will it very risky to try for RMPS and if not successful, then we will opt for BRPS?
