Hi,
Just wanted to share an experience I encountered before.
As a first time mummy, everything was new to me.
My boy will be entering P1 in 2013, hence need to find out about the primary schools details + PV services (if applicable) in Sembawang area.
Hence, I emailed to Canberra Primary requesting for a face-to-face meeting in order to get an understanding of how their school operates and how to go about with the PV participation.
Not only was I rejected a meet-up and the officer was so rude in replying the email!
Canberra Primary was totally out of my selection criteria after this experience!
Just my 2-cents worth of thoughts.

Hi,
Top PSLE score-273. Not sure about % for above 250, only know 6 pupils scored above 260 and 100% passing rate.
I have 2 kids in Canberra Pri, as for as I am concerned, it is a good school where my kids enjoy learning. -

How much pocket-money should a parent give his/her child when the child enters Primary 1?

Primary 1 students entering in year 2014 will be attending morning or afternoon session? Canberra Primary is considered a FUTURE School by MOE. Is the curriculum the same as other schools? How is Canberra different from Endeavour or Wellington Pri? Anyone knows if Canberra will be changing principal? Usually primary school principal stays on 5 years in a school and get posted elsewhere like that Endeavour principal, who came from Nan Chiau and after 5 yrs got posted to Henry Park in 2013.

Canberra Primary School Open House
Saturday 7 June 9am-1pm
P1 pupils entering in 2014 will be in the afternoon session.
Curriculum is same as other schools, but the use of IT in teaching and learning may be more than that in some other schools. For example, all P1 this yr has to purchase Ipad for classroom use.
The is no change of Principal next year. -

Lastest update: SC <1km demand exceed supply. Balloting will be conducted for all SC<1km. SC living beyond 1km, please look for back up now as no chance for you to ballot at all. School is not willing to reveal the specific number for SC <1km. Only willing to say that those SC <1km who applied today will need balloting.
