Sorry, may I know what is the criteria to be considered as risk is low? Will the school announce the number of applicants that live within 1km, and 1-2km?
For me, I would register for GESP under phase 2A2. When it comes to phase 2C, I will monitor closely and withdraw from GESP to register for AP when the risk is low. -

School will not announce. I have read from other members that they called up the second school on the last day to check on the number of applicants that live within 1 km and 1-2 km. Based on the risk level on the third day, one of the parents will perform withdrawal from the first school and the other will register the child in the second school.

hellokittyspore,
Just withdraw at 4.20pm & register at 4.25pm so your stress will be just 5 minute. With the internet registration, I wonder how accurate the live result would be. :scared: -

You need to plan very well in Phase 2C to get into a Pri Sch. When come to Phase 2CS, your choices would be very limited & if you are again more than 2km from these schools, you may not have any chance to be ballot. My boy will be eligible for Phrase 2A2 as his dad was a ex student of bukit ho swee for GESP. But we are more keen in AP... but however we are just a little bit close but fall under > 2km for AP.
if we couldnt get in to AP in 2C due to overwhemling response, dont know our chances of getting in GESP (we are 1-2km away) in 2C sup?
can give any wise advise? thanks in advance!
In summary, just make sure you still have within 1km to fight in Phase 2C supplementary if you fail at Phase 2C. Looking at this time round, GESPS should be coming very strongly. -
thank you all for the advices.
can i also check, how can we determine we can still register on the last day if to withdraw and register at the school? will the school tell how many vacancies left? sorry a bit green to this -

i am just wondering, how does the new school take in the applications at the phrase 2C. they receive more than the intake, they will take in all within 1km first.... then follow by 1-2km then lastly > 2km? like this we sure no chance lor
