2013 P1 Registration Exercise for 2014 In-Take
-
Celynn:
This is in MOE's FAQ:We have bought a BTO in 2012 and if we would like to use the BTO address to register for our child's Primary One school, do we show the agreement lease to the school during registration?
The agreement lease did not state when the BTO will be ready. it only state that they will hand over to us latest by 2017. But it is predicted that it should be ready in 2016. My child is entering Primary one in 2014. If within 2 years of my child's education and the BTO is still not ready for us to move in, will my child be requested to transfer to another school?
Thanks.

Q. I have purchased a yet-to-be completed property and should be moving in after the property is completed. Can I make use of the new home address for the purpose of registration?
Answer:
Yes. The new home address can be used provided that you are able to produce evidence from the relevant authority that you have committed to the purchase of this property.
In the case of private property, you must produce the original Sales and Purchase Agreement. For the 2013 Primary One (P1) Registration Exercise, the date of commitment by the developer in the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) must not be later than 31 December 2015.
In the case of Housing & Development Board (HDB) flat, the Agreement for Lease is required.
In addition, you have to sign a letter of undertaking to move into the new property within two years of the child's entry into P1.
In other words, what is more important is that you prove that your new residence will be ready before 31 Dec 2015. MOE will not allow you to use the address otherwise. -
:scared: Can I check if anyone has the stats between 2A1 and 2A2 for aitong? With only 83 places left for 2A2, not sure if aitong may need to ballot in P2A2. In fact, this year figure seems to be totally not in line with past few years, also don't know how to predict. :scared:

I was looking for that information, but not sure where to obtain that. So last year, I pay to join the Alumni in order to get 2A1. Relieve me of the stress.
The way I see, by phase 2B, Ai Tong will need ballot. -

This has been the case for several years already. -

Hi,
Let me try,
1) Aitong 2012 after Phase 2(A1+A2) TUR is 87%.
2) Aitong 2012 After Phase 2A1 TUR is 63%
Therefore meaning, Phase 2A2 is = 87%-63%= 24%= 24%X 330= 80 slots.
Since currently 2013 Phase 2A1 TUR is already 75%, if we assume using past year data. It might turn out that there won't be any chance of even Phase 2B at all and even balloting at Phase 2A2. Of course we can also assume that as Kiasu parents, all those 2A2 \"upgrade\" themselves to 2A1 this year.
Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers. -

I've been looking for it too but can't seem to find. Suggest best to complete the form provided by the school becos school need 2 copies of the form and theirs are carbon copies type paper. If I remembered correctly, when I was in P2B, there was a registration number stated on the form provided by school. -
Oh cool, yes this is the form which seems not to clear or realize by many parents. Wondered why…
And now with the advise that maybe it is better to fill up the form provided by the school on the day of registration, we better not be too ‘clever’ to fill up the form in advance, hahaaa…
