Oh cool, yes this is the form which seems not to clear or realize by many parents. Wondered why…

And now with the advise that maybe it is better to fill up the form provided by the school on the day of registration, we better not be too ‘clever’ to fill up the form in advance, hahaaa…

I will just fill up (using PDF editor), then print 5 copies to bring. LOL!

You can do that, but doubt the school will accept.

Just ask yourself - why do schools use carbon copies instead of normal paper?

The copy issued by the school for you to fill up will be carbon copies (1 front/ 2 carbon copy), which one will be given to parent to record keeping. I will suggest you use that original forms given by the school administrators during your child registration. There is a column which the school adminstrators need to signed off, so I am not so sure you want them to sign off 5 individual copies...

Cumulative take up rates till Phase 2A(1)

                Henry Park -75%
                Ai Tong -75%
                CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' -72%
                Nanyang Primary -70%

                This is scary!!
Got a feeling these 4 schools will be fully taken up at Phase 2A(2)

These schools will be filled with alumni from all over Singapore while the kids staying next to the school have to travel out of their zone.

Actually on hindsight, its not really good to buy near these super popular schools. May end up \"can see cannot touch\".
                🤷

                    Hi,

Anyone have the links to the past statistic of childbirth for the past years?
                    Thanks!!
You can refers to statistic published by two other members http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=395&start=80.

Next year there will be even more children registering for P1. 😓

Ha ha! \"can see cannot touch\" - sadly true. For NYPS, I reckon there should be 32 places or so left after 2A.

The point you make about travelling all over Singapore is the unintended consequence of this system - those living within 1km still struggle to get in. You only need to see the traffic reduction when school holidays start to realise this is a real economic cost to Singapore - every day jams from 7-8am. At NYPS, around 80% of the children now live > 2km from the school.

NYPS expecting some 80-90 children registering for p2a2. by then, they only left with 20 seats max. really can see cannot touch 😞
