For me, only prob with redang is the journey there. :(. No direct flight. Long drive :(. I have not been there because I dread the journey. I have seen friend'spictures. Great snorkeling opportunity. Very much a snorkeling place. If you don't snorkel or drive, then nothing much to do, I was told. But the fishes and corals really really pretty from the photos and videos they took.

Berjaya Air is the only airline operating direct flights to Redang from Kuala Lumpur's Subang Airport (55 minutes, around MYR526 return) and Singapore Changi Airport Budget Terminal (80 minutes, around SGD352 return). They operate two types of turboprop aircraft: the 4-engine 48-seater DeHavilland Dash 7 and the twin-engine 72-seater ATR 72-500.

Helicopter is the easiest. Otherwise drive from KL, then ferry.

Yes by air.....but not aeroplane......it's helicopter.... :evil:
One can only get onto pangkor laut by ferry or helicopter. Whether u fly firefly or another airlines, you still need to drive to the marina and then ferry over. The drives are not short

From KL, how to get to Lumut where the hotel have speedboat to pick you. Is the food at the restaurants there expensive? Just wondering whether to take the package that includes all meals. TIA.

Drive from Ipoh to Lumut is shorter. Longer drive from KL. Can also take helicopter from KL to Lumut. it is the fastest way to get there but will be ex. Food at restaurants ex since you are a captive market. I'd pick the all meals package.
