Notice that the car plate number and the house unit number are the same?

The car might belong to the victims. That would make it harder to accost the suspect, unless he/she is known to the family.

According to The Straits Times (physical copy), the car belongs to the father.

If the murderer was alone, must be quite strong to be able to overcome two men, albeit a bit elderly.

It’s really very gruesome to drag the body along the road!

We were stuck in the jam from Potong Pasir to Kovan for close to 2 hours last evening. It is usually a 5-10 mins drive depending on traffic.

We thought there was a traffic situation and didn't realise it was so serious. After one hour in the jam, I saw on FB about a murder at Kovan but couldn't relate it to the jam. Past the viaduct, then did we realised that 2 lanes were being blocked by the police and nearer to kovan, we saw trail of blood on the last lane and then followed by the tent. The police were still doing investigation and that was already 9plus.

It was shocking for us. Frankly we wondered why one would want to plot such a \"high profile\" murder case? As in reading those news, the younger man was dragged for 1km from hillside drive till kovan mrt. 20plus cars were honking at the driver to stop.

dh was reluctant to drive past that stretch of the road this morning. It's just :yikes: to learn what happened the day before.

I can sympathise with your dh. Just thinking about a 1km long trail of blood and what that means the car is doing to the poor guy trapped beneath is enough to make anyone sick  .

I don't think the killer \"planned\" it to happen that way at all. Certainly not with such a audacious public display of brutality.
