dun worry b happy:
How about making an appointment to meet up with the principal and let your girl talk to him, convince him ? Hint hint - He is a traditional person who values a lot in chinese morales and billingual. We went down to the school but was informed that no more vacancies,
and if there is any, will be just one or two only.
waiting list of appeals are too many and chances are very very slim.
Heard that one student whose agg score 252 + 3(HCL) is also in the waiting list queue and not selected yet. So my gal's chance is definitely gone case!

Interesting and good info!verykiasu2010:
Just to share : if appeal at this stage (beginning of Sec 1) is not successful, don't give up. Ask to be on the waiting list and call them now and then to check on the status of the waiting list; some schools do allow transfer at end of SA1 or even at end of Sec 1. Be persistent and be sincere and meanwhile work hard at the new school (that gives extra convincing point to back up the appeal). Don't forget - some students will also be transferred out to their school of choice
Been there and done that!
YES! UR child can still work hard at crescent and use the crescent school results to try to convince RV(: -

252 + 3 may be above RV's COP for this year, but if they did not put RV as one of their choices from the beginning, a bit difficult to appeal as all seats would have already been taken up at central posting, so appeal cases depend on people withdrawing or a few limited reserved seats which some schools keep for appeal cases. -
My child has 250+2 with 2A and 2A*. Sheโs planning to appeal to NJC. Does she really need to put NJC as first choice, she missed last yrโs COP by 7 points. Icalled NJC, ,they only have 190 places left Anyone understand how the system works?
I assume students are all placed in a straight line starting from the top student first choice school.
Am i right to say, all will be given first choice school first if they meet the COP. Then all the remaining student who missed by first choice will be lined in straight line again to check if their second choice school still have vacancy?
REALLY NEEDED ADVICE AS SHE HAS DONE S1 OPTION. Understand still have chance to alter. She has placed
1. RVH
2. NJC
