since you have obtained your PSLE score and got into NYGH, does it matter if you know the difference between A score and T score? Your teachers/principal/parents should have explained to you at the beginning of P6 anyway. Go study, read your book or do something more useful. In fact, shouldn't you be busy doing your work now? Life in NYGH is not going to be easy i think so better not log on too much and too long on Kiasuparents.com. You should pay more attention on your work although this is only week 3. Remember it is \"kiasuparents\" and not \"kiasukids\". We welcome kids' comments and questions etc but I believe all parents want their kids to pay more attention to relevant things and prioritise their work. 25hourmaid, the COP you collected, are their MAINLY the original COP to admit or are they COP based on the appeal cases?


For NYGH, I know their official COP stands firm at 263. There are a few appeal cases like 258+2 manage to get through but I also hear majority appeal were not so lucky and successful.

As for RGS, COP is typically 263 as well but for appeal cases, 259, 260 this year, they managed to get through.

actually this year nygh appeal very easy get in i ask around almost everyone got in through appeal. and i have one friend get 256 she appeal rgs successful.

Is this year's PSLE harder than other years thats why the COP all decrease????? :?

Just to share : if appeal at this stage (beginning of Sec 1) is not successful, don't give up. Ask to be on the waiting list and call them now and then to check on the status of the waiting list; some schools do allow transfer at end of SA1 or even at end of Sec 1. Be persistent and be sincere and meanwhile work hard at the new school (that gives extra convincing point to back up the appeal). Don't forget - some students will also be transferred out to their school of choice
