There is an after-school-care centre located at the block just next to the school - Ananias Student Centre which many of our TGPS student attend. There are also a few others nearby but not walking distance, so you may want to check with the different centre how do they arrange the logistics.

Yes, we have daddies, mommies and Grannies all chipping in to help as PSG, as and when their time permit them to do so.

I believe you are not the first daddy on the TGPS thread and definitely not the last too...haha.

Agreed that TGPS results are improving throughout the years. All thanks to the hard work of the passionate and committed teachers. Also a very supportive School Management team. My girl has been here for last 5 years and I have only good words to say. :evil: Of course along the way, we had encountered some issues but most of them were resolved amicably. :xedfingers:

My DD wrote in her school diary, can wear traditional clothes, with school shoes. No home clothes

For parents with kids going to P1 next year, I hope that your kiddos will enjoy the schools next year. Tomorrow is the start of 2C registration. Hope you all the best. Some of us parents will be helping out the school tomorrow for the registration. If you happen to register for your kids tomorrow and meet some of the parent volunteers, come and say hi to us.

That is nice of you to want to help out. The school needs parent volunteers in various areas. Some of the task required regular commitment like the reading program or library duty. Some are more adhoc basic like the P1 registration and learning journey. Since you are working full time, you can consider these ad hoc activities. Learning journey is something that I see quite fun. If you happen to go with your girl’s class, you have a chance to meet her classmates and teacher. At the same time you can observe how she interact with her classmates. I strongly encourage parents to help out learning journey if possible.

May be we will get to meet you next year during the parent support group meeting or school activities:-).
