I managed to check with Haig Girls’ ; they use a cut off point of 188 for their statistics on their website indicating those girls eligible for Express Stream or Normal Academic.


Another nearby school indicate on their website % of students eligible for Express Stream (without Normal Academic) & therefore use a cut off point of 200. Hope that helps any parents out there !

Yup, but still quite a bit far off compared to Tao Nan having about 30% above 250.

Har? Tao nan is GEP school leh. Got 2 GEP classes and only 30%? That's a bit... underwhelming. :siam:

I agree that it is not fair to compare between Haig Girls' and Tao Nan. Tao Nan being a GEP school is expected to produce better results.
Maybe, it will be fairer to compare between similar girls' school in the nearby vicinity like CHIJ Katong, St Anthony's Canossian and Canossa Convent. Unfortunately, most schools do not publish such statistics and I could only find CHIJ Katong which has 8.33% scoring above 250 for PSLE 2012.
