DIY : Alphabet Cards
-
Actually, I saw alot of such books with full step by step colours and pictures at Bras Basah Popular. One of them which my colleague bought was "Montessori at Home".
I borrowed some books from my friend (she’s homeschooling her kids) and there are alot of simple DIY instructions, complete with pictures too. The lesson plans are also there (exactly what to do/say/ask/explain) for parents who do not hv the time to do the planning.
She bought alot of these homeschooling books online and at Kinokuniya. -
Hey buds....

Thanks buds for the detailed steps for preparation. Now just short if the remaining alphabet templates. Will you be putting the rest of the templates here too? Also, do I start introducing from ‘a’ first or can jump to whichever alphabets that I’ve materials on? Thanks a lot!!

Sorry lah soomum.. I thought nobody was paying attention, so i
slack off lah. Didn't put it all up yet. Thought no one interested to
learn the ropes.
To answer your question, YES, i will be putting up the remaining templates
soonest then, since you seem interested.
As for the introduction
proper of the sounds, you may visit the http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5768 thread for the
detailed presentation. Follow in that same order i have given... ie. c, f, i, m.
The template page will also have the order of how the sounds are taught
in a Montessori classroom, IF... provided YOU are interested to teach
your child in the ways of the Montessori Method of teaching Phonics. :celebrate: -

Heyya celtricia, cool then.
I'll get it updated soon as i can then.
More pressure for me to buck up my ideas. Hahahaa!
Glad to know another newbie here. Feel free to throw
questions as it comes to you, okie? When you said u
have two other DDs in future d'ya mean you're now
preggie with twins? -
buds jie...would appreciate if you could provide template for the other letters too. My DD2 finds it a bit of a challenge getting the d's and b's right and especially coz she sees letters as a whole picture and get her constituent strokes all
:stupid:
THanks a million! -
