wonder has any P1 kid register for the CCA? my girl keeps on telling me to go mconline to register for her but me cant locate leh… please help… email to her FT since tues, till now no reply… think maybe involve in p5 camp…


my girl didnt brng back any form/ memo for this CCA thingy… asked her, "dont know" is the answer… but she did mentioned her classmates had done it… scare she lost/ misplaced the memo yah…

hi, would like to know a few things about Hong Wen.

1) Schooling hours
2) compulsory for CCA for pri 1?
3) is there swimming for CCA?
4) homework patterns (whether alot or lil? for primary 1, and two? and when will the frequency increases?)

School hours

- Mon to Thur 7.15am - 1.35pm
- Fri 7.15am - 1.05pm

CCA not compulsory for P1 & P2.

No swimming CCA at HWS.
But for my boy this year at P4. The school will let all the children learn the swimming for 8 times (once a week) at Jalan Besar Swimming Pool.

Homework
- For my boy at P2 & P4 this year. I think is consider little. Most of them will done during the class. Not everyday have school homework.

i got question! that day when i go in for registration, i reach the school at 725-730am, but i still see cars entering the school. So issi’t alright to be late? :PppPpP

1st Bell ring at 7.25am. 2nd ring on 7.30am.

School hope all the children reach school by 7.15am so they can have silent reading at hall.
So reach school before 7.25am still ok. Not consider late.

Once in, on top look for school admin tab, click on that and you will find the CCA registration.

During last parents’ briefing, there are some prog for the kids too if arrive by 715 am. My dd1 always rush me out of home to reach school early LOL


If by 1st bell not in, kids will be "booked" by prefects.

If your dd is interested in any of the CCAs, you can try emailing the CCA teacher-in-charge. For certain CCAs, like wushu, fr my experience last yr, there is selection conducted when the kids are learning wushu during curriculum time. For those CCAs, parents will rec consent form to indicate if they wish their kids to take part. Not sure if it's the same this year.
