hi mummies
we just registered our dd via online reg on the 29 july, and we are staying <1km. I wonder they will confirm the online reg than the walk in or they will review everything and confirm those stay <1km, 1-2km and >2km. Kindly advise.
And mummies who send their dd to the student care, how much are the fees during school holiday and whether the school bus pick them up or we have to send them by ourselves? -

What time does your DD board the school bus in the morning?
I'm staying at Woodlands. Dd is p2 this year. My girl enjoys school very much.as for traveling journey wise- we are kinda used to it. The traffic is normally smooth early morning . Dd is very happy studying there. The girls are quite well- behave as far as I know.
Will the school bus operator arranges such that each student's travelling will be at most 1 hour? -

For my case, the school bus operator doesn't come to woodlands area ( coz I thk the demand is low) . However , there is a 4:30pm bus to fetch the students back from school to woodlands .
DH or myself send DD to & back fr school daily . We step out about 6:35am )reach school about 7:05am. If start journey at 6:40 (latest), normally reach school ard 7:15am-7:20am. -

There are alot of mini buses that goes to various parts of singapore as there are students who live far away. Call RS transport 62866553 to ask transport details. School starts at 7.35am or 7.40am. Traffic to the school very smooth for us.
Last year, I had the option to put my dd in the same school as DS which school is a stone's throw away. The girls in her SMPS class seemed well behaved and she has good teachers. She enjoys school and she learns well from the teachers' teaching. On the other hand, the teachers in my son's co-ed school seems to have to shout/scream to control the class. Feedback from other parents of other classes in my son's co-ed school also seemed to be same. So comparing my DS and DD's progress in academic, character building, and especially from their behaviour seen in their daily life, I am filled with great happiness that I made the right decision especially on the times my DD fills me with the information on the stories and values she learns from school when I further queried her how she pick up certain good behaviour.
