I will get the Creative dictionary for myself!! I will be happy if my kid can use 1 cheng yu in a compo. Up to date my P3 boy knows nothing about cheng yu.

Besta model is easy to use. My boy is starting to use it by himself on the 2nd day. However better not be too dependent on the dictionary because written expression during exams is only 50 minutes. My kids told me some of their classmates are using Besta models while few are using bigger ones (perhaps the more expensive model?). I refrain from buying those more expensive ones. Afterall they are only in P3 and they are likely to loose things easily. The salegirl kept asking me to buy the $600+ model (that can practise oral exams). It is out of my budget. Wonder if really any parents will buy it?

I also bought a more expensive range of Besta ($200+)... after playing with it for a few days it was left in the drawer untouched for a long long while...hai waste money.. πŸ˜›

          Calling MMM and grande,

Are the P3 kids required to stay back for VE and CMP tomorrow? My boy is unable to tell me anything. My P4 told me she has VE and CMP tomorrow. Lunch is from 12.20pm to 12.45pm. VE 12.50pm to 1.20pm, CMP 1.20pm to 2.20pm.

            Hi,

Based on the timetable, yes. My impression is that the CMP is from 2.30 - 4.30 (as it is conducted by external instructors). Am I reading it correctly? My girl told me that it is announced that it is compulsory for P3 and P4 to stay back fro CMP but she is not too sure of the time.

According to schedule it is CCA not CMP (by external instructors) is from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. It will only start next week.

I am worried because this is my boy first time staying back in school. He vaguely remembers his teacher telling him about the Malay lessons last Fri when the schedule was given out. Nothing was written down. If my boy don't know about staying back in school tomorrow, I believe there will be many others too.

I am making arrangements for my kids to be picked up by 2.20pm. Lucky my girl is there to watch out for her brother.

                Hi jsmum,

The schedule shows 13th Jan Commencement of Weekly CMP lessons for P3 & P4… So must they stay back??? I am trying to get hold of another parent via FB. See if he replies.

                  Jsmum,

I managed to contact another P3 parent. He told me that his son told him that they can leave by 2.20pm. I am thinking of getting my maid to standby for 2.20pm pickup and will call the school tomorrow to confirm.

Thanks for the info. Btw, remember to bring \"fo xue\" book for VE.

                    Good night πŸ™‚

                      Hello jsmum

So sorry that I missed your post. Luckily you manage to get the info.

My girl told me its up till 2.30pm, so imagine my surprise when I went to pick her at 2.25pm, got so many parents and students at the gate liao !

She told me that the school bus will send them but I was afraid that she may have got it wrong. Luckily manage to find the school bus and ask her to come down. Phew !

Oh yes, my girl also told me that they need to get the CMP textbook + workbook.

Next week, my girl will be having her house practice on Thursday. So, if she wants to take the school bus, she needs to wait till 6.20pm and come back together with the afternoon session, rite ??

Oh yes, do you have any forms for your boy to sign up any CCA ? Till now, my girl still have not get the forms yet leh.

                        Hi,

Any parents from P1 and P2 receive the CCA form already? I observed that for those CCA that has started, it's based on those that they joined last year (in the case of my P2 and P3). I am waiting eagerly for the CCA form as my P2 wants to join the band.
