      Vgb:

πŸ˜„ Hello there Ming! Yes,mine is in 1H.
hello Vgb - Nice \"knowing\" you πŸ™‚ shake hand !

Today is the start of week 2, maybe some \"serious\" work will be begin soon.....honeymoon is over

btw, any parents here staying at around clementi area with girls in morning session, can help to share normally what time your girl need to board the school bus ?

Currently I am staying quite far from the school, need to start planning if needs to shift. The school bus driver told me that at our current place, he will fetch at 5.40am

      Rgds,
      Ming

          moonee:
Hi Siti, Wow 4 kids! tot it was 3 initially, they seem quite disciplined... πŸ˜„ can imagine the stress u hv to put up with now, one after another. I guess u have to pay attention more to yr P6 and P1 girl for now. Anyway u seem to be coping quite well, :celebrate: lucky the ages are well spaced out.

BTW, how long has yr grl been with the basketball team, understand its not easy to get in, cnt be fat etc....my grl is in p4 and has dropped the idea of joining basketball, she enquired abt softball but it seems like there are too many applicants. I would very much prefer her to do a cca outside school hours at our own time instead of hanging around after school till 2.30 to start her cca. I have considered fencing as there are many of her friends doing that outside and need only to report once a month in school to be assessed. -- Do u have any idea whether participation in either ballet or arts at N A F A is recognised by raffles and whether it will b reflected in the report book?
Hi moonee, she joined since in P3. W Sch team since P4/5. Btw, she's in track and field outside sch hrs too. It's one of those that can is approved. Juz need to inform sch and submit attendance sheet. Check with the sch on the NAFA before u commit :). I wanted to enrol Arts but gosh ! i'm the 1500 on waitlist !! PFFFTTT

Thanks for the info, I rcvd the cca form yesterday, got to submit on-line by Thursday. No hope for softball too, they have already selected and auditioned since last yr. 😞 NAFA? Ive been trying to withdraw my girl frm art since p2 but she insist on going on, dd has quite a lot of homework and other commitment, will see how it goes for this half yr b4 I make my decision, Very impressive during kinder days to p1...kind of boring after that. Just wnt to see what they come up with for this year.
I believe youre trying to enrol yr youngest to kinderart ,,, Yup, I heard of waiting time up to 2 yrs. or more.

Thanks for letting me know πŸ™‚

btw, I am thinking of signing up my girl for choir too for cca, provided that there is school bus arrangement. Need to check first.

For those of you with lower primary kids participating in cca, do you rely on school bus or bring them yourselves ?

              Thank you.

              Rgds,
              Ming

                  Hi Parents of RGPS girls,

Just realised this is a very good platform to clear my many doubts as my little girl is rather unreliable in answering all my questions *roll eyes*. I have a girl in P1 and another in Sec 1. I have been going to my older girl's sec sch forum for parents and forgot about the little one

Anyone knows if the P1s will have their SA1? Thank you in advance πŸ™‚

Not too late, FireflyMom. Kudos to you to deal with 2 kids with equally demanding adjustment period...

Yes, there'd still be SA1 this year.

I kaypoh here a bit: hubby recently met up with an old colleague (staying near RGPS) who have two daughters (P4 and P1) in RGPS. He shakes his head when he talks about his daughter’s teachers who really practise "Teach less", "Learn more" on your own.
