Anyone knows which other day is the Malay Special Prog held other than Thurs? Start & end at what time?


Also, if there is PE lesson, do the students wear their PE attire to sch then change into their uniforms after PE juz like in Pri sch?

some schools allow whole day in PE uniform if there is PE on that day, so will also attend lessons in those PE attire, save the hassle of changing. Those PE uniform have collared T-shirt, and shorts have zipped pockets

I personally prefer that cos' the uniform will be crumpled after all the folding & stuffing into their sch bags. Also a waste of time to change. On the other hand, they may be too stinky after PE.

Any idea about duration of bus ride from HCI to MOELC at Ghim Moh?

There is no change for RS (i.e. Thurs). Hence, we need to change the 3rd lang class to another day. You can get the class transfer form from MOELC website http://www.moelc.moe.edu.sg/transfer/transfer.htm

If your DS is from ProEd, he should have a letter from Charles (Director of ProEd) stating the schedule of the RS programme. Attached this letter with the form as supporting document.

You have to take bus 156 and change to 92 along Holland Rd to reach 3rd lang centre. The travelling time (excluding waiting time) is about 20 minutes. Not too bad.

I don’t know why HCI can’t reserve Thu for 3rd language just like NYGH does. NYGH reserves Wed for 3rd language, even no CCA or other activities on Wed afternoon. NYGH also provide transport to language centers. Why can’t HCI do the same for the interests of students. It’s arrogant that HCI doesn’t want to change the schedule, yet ask students to change theirs individually (a lot are affected).

Hi, I had wrote an email to Charles, but no reply. I also went to High School reception to highlight this conflict. They told me Pro-ed will de-conflict. Well, the RS starts only on 28 Jan 10. Let see

Realised after post that German is not offered in Ghim Moh.
He won't make it in time to Bishan.

Understand that HCI is aware and looking into this issue.
Meantime, we have to adjust.
