Rumor that Apple will be announcing new iPhone and iPad on 10/09/13.
If they make another mistake like the iPhone 5, they will lose even more ground to the Google camp. Hopefully it is not just an incremental enhancement with silly new proprietary connectors that invalidate all our investments in peripherals. -
The only way for Apple to make money is to keep suing Samsung.

and if they are only announcing specs like what had been \"leaked\" so far, then it will be another big disappointment.

folding phone is not new, I believe a jap brand (Sony? :scratchhead: Toshiba? :scratchhead: ) had one some time back. The thick bezel sort of killed the larger screen effect and the phone failed.
the \"Next\" thing in screen is supposed to be flexible OLED, where the display screen can curve around the edge to the side of the phone. Another prototype of the flexible OLED was a pull out screen, somewhat like a scroll. Unlikely to see any of these this year, the bending screen most probably next year, earliest. -
