              This is reported in today’s Straits Times. According to the newspaper, the robbers had parangs and drove away in 3 cars!


              Other motorists who witnessed the robbery, honked at them.

                  Such situations are tricky. To any one of the motorists present, he/she could be thinking:

                  if I garang go down and try to help, and there are at least 3 visible robbers who are armed with parangs, am i putting myself at risk? What if there are other accomplices who are armed with firearms in the car? What if...

                  It's just incredible that such incidents can take place in broad daylight...

                    it was reported that one of the cars the robbers used had a S’pore registered

                    number plate. Could be a stolen car.

                      If all the witnesses come to the rescue, do you think they can get away even with parang?

                      But of course, no one will know if they have other weapons.
