[Bedok] Primary Schools
-
Hi Sasamum, thanks anyway, can chat here also. I managed to register my daughter into St Anthony's Canossian Primary at Phase 2C. Just because this year has 121 places as compared to last year only 92 places at phase 2C. Thank God for that. So all SC & PR got in. It's a happy ending for all at this phase.
But of course, my backup school is Opera Estate Primary. I think this year, their take up rate is higher and I believe this school is improving it's quality
Btw, did you register at SACPS also? Or you gone to other school. I hope you did as there are 11 places being spill over to Phase 2Cs.

Yup I did registered for SACPS n will have to go for the orientation on Nov 13.

Congrats to all who gets into their choice of schools for phase2c.
For those who didn’t, dun be demoralized.

This is correct. St Stephen's has no parent volunteer program.flochoe:
Thx! Do you know if there is a PV program in St Stephen's?
From what I know, there is no parent volunteer program in St Stephen's if you are referring to one that will put you under Phase 2B.
The school however has a parent volunteer program for parents whose kids are currently studying in the school.
It has a very strong Parent Support Scheme (parents of existing students) though.. where parentsof current students volunteer their services (some daily as traffic warden; others weekly)... and during carnivals and sports day and other celebrations ... I'm surprised to see so many \"parent-supporters\" ...
I'm not sure if it is because of this strong support given by parents of existing students that St Stephen's does not need the parent volunteer scheme. But, kudos to these parents for dedicating their time & effort.
