FYI, phase 3 is no longer under first come first serve, it follows the priority ranking as phase 2c / 2cSupp! So, if you really not succeed in phase 2csupp, you are still getting your priority in phase 3! probably help will only be given after phase 3!
You are right that Phase 3 is no longer under first-come-first-serve basis. However, applicants who are unsuccessful in P2CS will be asked to indicate three schools that they would like MOE to post their children to. MOE will then post the children to schools with vacancies nearest to where they stay. All these will be done before Phase 3 starts. -

Wellington seems safe based on yesterday's numbers.Btw, I live in Sembawang and am now eyeing either Wellington Pri (shorter distance) or Sembawang Pri (Longer distance). Both school all within 1km.
Any kind soul can provide expertise comments? TY :?:
Is Northoaks nearer to your house or Sembawang? -
Yup. Hopefully the number will not oversubscribe today. :xedfingers:
Wellington is the nearest among the 3 leftover schools.

Did you call the school to check on the distance category of those who already applied? As long as the oversubscription, if any, is not too much, you may not need to go through balloting.Yup. Hopefully the number will not oversubscribe today. :xedfingers:

Good Luck to you! -

With the new ruling of reserving 40 places for phase 2B and 2C, balloting may be required for popular schools under phase 2A2. If my child did not get into the school of his choice under phase 2A2, does it mean he will have to wait until phase 2C to try his luck again? Iβm not a school volunteer thus able to apply under phase 2B. Iβm currently in a dilema right now. Should I apply for the popular school and hope there is no balloting for 2A2 or just apply under Phase 2A2 for another school which is not that popular. At least guaranteed of a place under 2A2.

Yes, if your child is in the distance category should the school need to go through balloting.littlejuan8:
It depends on your appetite for balloting.Should I apply for the popular school and hope there is no balloting for 2A2 or just apply under Phase 2A2 for another school which is not that popular. At least guaranteed of a place under 2A2.
Many parents apply via P2A2 via several reasons, one of which is not to go through the stress of balloting. -
Hi can anyone kindly advise which is better:
1. Send daughter to PLMGPS which is affiliated with PLMGSS (Iβm an old gir), then send son to another school. They are 3 yrs different in age.
Or
2. Send both to Rosyth (with no prior connections).
Donβt know if this is the right place to ask. Thanks in advance.
