hi AZmom, we will be sending our child to after school care if she get into the school in phase 2CS.

Anyone can advice me how is the past year application for 2CS, do I need to go thru the heart attack session of balloting again. We are staying at boon keng area. :?:

Based on last year, there was balloting for PR, I think it's > 2km. Are you SC? Then it should be quite safe, I think?

WE ARE ALL IN! :rahrah:
And it's really a close shave...36SC of us for 36 vacancies.
And I am staying closeby to your area too...

When we left the school, I saw a group of girls sitting at the canteen area with a teacher, who was using the microphone to chat with the girls and then the girls took turn to use the microphone to sing songs together. They were smiling and enjoying themselves.

I think they are the ones in the student care. Less than 40 of them. Prob 30?
Then a school bus came along. Maybe to fetch them home? Or student care means parents will have to fetch them home?

Congrats to you as well ( :congrats: ), we were there in the morning during their break time and saw a group of student hanging around the staircase when we are leaving and they are singing song as well. Maybe is the same group of girls but I can see that the bonding between student in the school is very strong and I believe this is very good for them.

After knowing the news, we are so happy and planned to head down to the student care to check out the detail with our child tomorrow.

I thought student care will have the girls do their work n revise?
I left sch at 4pm and the girls were still there at the canteen.

Hi all,


didn't manage to head down to the student care today due to they are too busy to entertain us. I did a check with them and the registration is open for next year in-take, anyone interested will need to contact Jenny @ her email: [email protected] with the child info and she will secure a place for you.

Transport will need to be tie-down with the school bus service provider to pick the child from school and send them over to the student care. Program wise after the school will be as such:

- Lunch
- Afternoon rest
- Home Work
- Tea Break
- Return Home (Fetch by 7)

if there's school activity, the bus will fetch them back after the program. hope the info is helpful.
