:congrats: to you and your dd.
According to my dd, the syllabus is the same but the teachers' style of teaching and their set of notes are different for the gep classes.

No problem! sorry not sure about the year before.[/quote]Hi Glorymum, may I know if your dd is in the gep class? Are there more opportunities offered to geppers in these 2 classes compared to the others? Thanks.

                    Curious to know.

For SBGE class at NY, what score does a mainstream needs to get to enter the SBGE class?
And if a child hit that score, are they able to opt out of the SBGE class?

I had this impression from my dd that the two SBGE classes, i.e GE classes are GE cum AEP (113) and GE cum HMP (112). The mainstreamers in the GE classes either take AEP or HMP and did well for PSLE (but not sure what is the score). There are also another mainstreamers cum AEP class and a mainstreamers cum HMP class. There is also another special talent class for biculturalism, probably those mainstreamers who did very well in PSLE. (Disclaimer : Not very sure, based on my dd's very vague memory of what was said at the beginning of the year)

Sorry no answer to your qn on the score.
