Think probably every classโ€™s diff cosโ€™ my girl had fried noodles during recess today and noodles soup for lunch.

Preciousjam, I also called Mrs Lynn Tan enquiring abu the so-called spelling exercise book. Was also told that it was not included in the booklist and thus will pass the money to my girl tmr so that she can get it from the bookshop. Was told itโ€™s only required next week.

                      Hi Jolin78,

All our kids are in P1, and since it's been just 2 weeks since school started, we can't say exactly how they use IT to teach, but yes, from what the principal and the teachers said during the curriculum talk, they do use IT to teach - actually more ICT than just plain IT.

For example, when the spelling test list was given they gave links to some spelling sites which parents can use - an example of using technology to help the kids learn in a fun way...

                      Hope this helps.

Hi Vividlaurel and other Beacon Primary Parents,

You mention T2/3 will cover swimming and Wushu, are these activities assigned or you can choose from a list. And where would they do their swimming class? Do keep this thread active, as a potential parent to send my kid to Beacon next year - this really help with all these updates and feedback. Thanks!javascript:emoticon('8)') ๐Ÿ˜„
