Interestingly, there's no bus lane along Dunearn.karmeleon:
Today(Fri)'s traffic seems relatively clear compared to Tues & Wed this week.
This morning my boy took a bus at 6.45am and reached NJC around 7.20am. Just like Tue and Wed. -

Actually I've only seen a queue along Dunearn for cars going into Hillcrest on Wed. I've not seen on any other days. I usually send my son to school by 7.10am except for yesterday(Thurs) when he reached at 7.30am. -

Please don't suggest it !!!!!! Bus lane will worsen the traffic congestion as one lane can't be used for all other vehicles except PURELY for SBS and SMRT buses ... and in no time u will see ERP gantry outside HCI, NYGH etc...there is one now at SCGS ... -

My hubby also tried Adam exit on 4 Jan but was stuck in the jam for abt 20 mins. Subsequently, he uses Stevens Rd, smooth. For the past 3 days, I was the one sending my DS to HCI, also via Stevens exit. I left home at 6.20am, drop my DD at her pri sch at 6.25am (early but no choice leh), set off to HCI & arrived at 6.50am. If not for the KPE speed limit of 70km/h, would arrived even earlier. The route I took - Hougang/KPE/PIE/Stevens. At Stevens exit, just keep to the right lane to avoid the Q on the left towards SJI & SCGS. I noticed traffic starts to build up after 7am, so be in sch b4 7am to avoid the jam. At 6.45am, many students r already in HCI liao...so don't tink its too early.38daddy:
