Thanks mickeyhmh for sharing. Knowing that LB is within the school compound is really a plus point. At first, we were worry how we are going to arrange the transfer between school and centre. And now, we are happy to know teachers there are caring.

        Hi Crazy About Baking,

        Thank you for your links.
My gal was born in YR2010. So I need to apply for PV in NYPS by Jul 2014.
I can afford the time. But the thing is I have no niche skills that I can offer.
Thus, I hope I can get advice and tips here for a successful PV applications.
Can really feel the stress now!!! 😢

        Crazy About Baking:
        Hi Peonyflower,

You can use the online PV application form via NYPS site. The hyperlink is as follows: http://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/6Vl8v2RbEezCA5htc

You can select your areas of interests from the list inside the form and state any other areas on how you would like to contribute as a PV. Apart from this info, I cannot add on any other details as I have not managed to successfully applied to be a PV before.

Out of curiosity, when is your child applying for Pri 1? I asked because last known NYPS need 80 PV hrs and you might need to spread it out over 1-2 years to make it more manageable if you're a working mum or have younger kids to mind.

        peonyflower:

        Hi all

I am looking to apply for PV in NYPS next year.
But I am very stress now as I have no so-called niche quality to contribute and I am very clueless on how to present my PV application so I may at least get an interview!

I had looked through the history of this forum but I am still as blur as sotong.
Can anyone please kindly advise me or PM me your successful PV application?

        Million thanks.

No track & field CCA for P1.

Badminton, table-tennis, tennis, swimming, golf, wushu, gymnastics, international chess, ballet, Chinese dance, violin/cello, soccer.

These are E (Enriched)CCA as CCA is not compulsory in lower primary. They are all conducted by outside vendors. Students need to pay fees.
